textured glass
sorry! i wanted to make sure i am clear in my question......... i need advice on how to cut the pieces of textured glass that i have. i seem to make a complete mess and i'd rather make pretty pendants! thanks again.
Bumpy road
As with any textured glass, the first place to try is the smoother side. For some of the glass, it's still a crapshoot, so many people resort to diamond bandsaws, ring saws or the wet saw you stashed in the basement after that big tile project. There are also cutting systems like Mortons that people swear by.
The key, I've found, is practice. (And a good old ring saw when the piece has to be just right.)
The "pretty mess" of broken bits and pieces can add interest to your cabs or pendants. Heck, I got LOTS of pretty messes.
thanks! i have what
thanks! i have what a"mentor" describes as my "box of tears". i never throw anything away!
