fused tile mirror
Hi all,
I'm new here, possibly bitten off more than i can chew...
I planned (not well thought out) a project for a mirror with fused glass tile edging. The sheet of mirror is 2' x 3', 1/8" thick. My plan was to glue (lamisun or triolyse) the fused glass tiles around the mirror to form the border. Fused tiles are 4" square. Being that the mirror is so large, it doesnt seem very sturdy. Is there some type of rebar that I can affix to the back of the mirror? I don't want to use wood as it will add to the weight and possible warping. I really didnt want to use something like a zinc channel border as i want the tiles to be the border. does anyone know if there is something out there that will possibly reinforce the mirror? Any help would be super appreciated!
thanks,
michelle

1/4" mirror would do the
1/4" mirror would do the trick of making the whole more sturdy.
