Chilli Pepper Kiln

I have been given a Chilli Pepper Bead Kiln.  It has a manual pyrometer, not digital.  I would like to use it to fuse jewelry pieces.

Has anyone used this kiln for fusing?

The Chili Pepper does not get hot enough to fuse glass.as they have a max temp of 1100 deg.
