Repairing fused pieces

Hello Everyone

I have a question about repairing fused pieces.  I have been making suncatchers and have had a few "mishaps" while drilling my holes, sometimes the piece snaps apart before the drill bit gets through.  Can I use some glue to hold the pieces in place and then refire?  What fire schedule do I use, just a tack fuse? full fuse?
