Fossil Vitra Project

I've done a couple of projects using the method described in Paul's Fossil Vitra tutorial.  They've come great, but I would like to fuse a clear sheet of glass on top of the already fused single piece of glass with the "fossil" imprint.  Are there any special firing considerations I need to consider beyond the usual full fuse firing?

I tried this method and put the leaves under two pieces of glass and did a full fuse, it worked .
