Sconce making or a cheap source?
Submitted by mterry on Mon, 09/06/2010 - 21:31.
I was contacted by a designer in SoCal to make some small sconces for a restaurant. (4-5 inches wide). Does anyone have instructions on how to make a wall sconce, with or without a light? I don't know yet if they want a light or candle.
All the sconce brackets I found are too big and/or pricey, so I guess I will have to make them.
TIA-
Marge

I think you definetly need
I think you definetly need to know what kind of light fixture you need. If it is about the mold, I can show you how to make one really easy with Kaiser Lee Board in any size you want your final sconce to be.

Thanks Petra, I had forgotten about the KLB, it would make the perfect mold! I'll check on the sconce type and post the answer

Sconce hardware for candles
I need a cheap/fast source or instructions for making a candle sconce bracket for a 1/3-1/2 round 4 inch sconce. Any suggestions?
